There are plenty of Pinoy SEO experts and enthusiasts these days, unlike a year ago when most of the bloggers I know were simply personal bloggers, and the method used to increase readership is thru building relationships with other like-minded bloggers. I say I miss those days. But blogging has evolved and the number of bloggers had increased exponentially in which expression and content are not the only things that matter for the blogger.

Lightning-Quick Visits and Other Web Traffic

Have you ever tried analyzing your site’s web traffic? If you don’t know how, why don’t you install google analytics in your blog. It’s easy! You may also use other tracking sites like that of Sitemeter. Wordpress has its own pre-installed stat counter and some available enhanced plug-ins. But whatever suits your need or your interest will do just fine.

So, let me share my own experience with my web traffic analysis. Though I have been blogging for sometime now, I don’t really care about those stats until recently. I am not yet on the point of being crazy about web traffic though. But the analysis will surely help you in the long run. Where does my traffic come from?

Web Traffic For Those Who Just Started Out

Web traffic is simply the number of visitors to your website. It does not necessary mean that they read your content, but at least they happen to reach any of your web pages. For webmasters or site owners who have legitimate businesses, traffic is very important, like it is the lifeblood of their online presence. The more people that visit your site, the more exposed your products or services. Traffic is also very important to bloggers who are monetizing their sites. More visits, more clicks on ads, bigger chances of getting expensive reviews, etc…

But what about the personal bloggers and those who are not into blog monetization? First, you have to ask yourself: Why do I need web traffic? If you have don’t have a ready answer for that, let me share to you some of my thoughts.
