Here is the list of the top 10 placers (topnotchers) in the recent November 2008 Nursing Board Exam (released February 18, 2009):

1) Jovie Ann Alawas Decoyna – Baguio Central University, 89 percent

2) John Patrick Morales Dimarucot - Central Luzon Doctor’s Hospital Educational Institute, 88.40%

3) Gian Karlo Timog Cusi, Baguio Central University 88%; Erycar Del Mundo Manaois -Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, 88%

A lot of people are searching for the November 2008 Nursing Board Exam Results and list of passers, which is released today. I can already imagine the traffic of those who optimized for this board exam results. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 39,455 or 44.51% out of 88,649 examinees passed Nursing Licensure Examinations for November 2008 given by the Board of Nursing. This is a better percentage compared the 43% of June’s Nursing Board Exam Results. See results as posted in the Inquirer here>>>

Take note though that the PRC website is the official source. Unfortunately, it’s hard to access that website at this point in time.

The June 2008 Philippine Nursing Board Exam Results was already released late last night. 27,765 examinees or 43.07% out of the 65,459 who took the exam last June 1 and 2 passed. The exams were held in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

I first learned of the results last night from examinees who congratulated each other at Velez College, Cebu while accompanying my wife, an alumna of that school, who attended the wake of the school’s longest-serving nursing dean.

More than 100 examinees made it to the top 10. Topnotchers from Cebu schools are as follows:
