How To Copy The Blog Posts of Others

Someone copied my Pacquiao vs Hatton Pacquiao Fight Results Predictions post and posted word-for-word the whole thing in his website. My misspelled Pacquaio was not edited and damn he is even ahead of me at Google’s SERP.

I don’t really mind if we had the same title, as I know that mine is so generic and bland. What I am furious about is that he copied the whole thing, even the headers and the bold words and phrases. He could have restructured, rephrased, rewrite, add or subtract something in that post. It would only take a few brain nerves and muscles to do that.

And just like the last years, we have some of those so-called New Year’s resolutions. EC Love and Easy Link – Finale

This is probably the last of my EC love and easy link giveaways. This is not a contest. But it’s my way of rewarding my top droppers. However, times have changed and I have to come up with something new. Or shall we say: The entrecard credits are good, but we need cash. Like what I have done for these last few months, I will give away 300, 200 and 100 ec credits to my top 3 droppers. No cash yet. My Paypal account is almost empty.

So, here are my top 3 droppers for the last 31 days:
First: Turnip – Social Networking
Second: Technically Easy – Tips to Help You Understand Computers
Third: Banic Manic

And the winner for the 125×125 ad for a week is:
What About Brazil

(Mr. Prado, please reply to this entry if you want another ad to be advertised here instead of your blog. Otherwise, I’ll just use your entrecard ad.)

The entrecard dropping has become a chore to many, so their dropping habits have drastically changed. Some even left entrecard. But I will not follow them in their exodus. I’ll remain with the community unless I get banned or forced out.

EC love and easy link has ended. My next project is to reward my readers. So, if you haven’t subscribed to my feeds, do so now. Thank you and happy blogging everyone!

The Best Definiton of Bloggista: My Contest Entry

The term ‘bloggista’ is not just the Tagalog or even Hispanic translation of a blogger. What is a bloggista? This is my contribution to the definition:

Noun
- someone who blogs with zeal and passion, incorporating all aspects of blogging in his lifestyle, both business and personal.
- a trendsetter in blogging, whether it be in technical aspects, blog content, or just trendy designs that contribute to the total aesthetics of the blogging experience.

Sample Uses
1. With his passion for writing and using the blogging as a medium to convey his thoughts and ideas, he will be a leading bloggista someday.
2. She’s such a fashion bloggista! It’s not only her contents are about fashion, but her blog is fashion in itself.

    Entrecard Again

The past few weeks we’ve seen a barrage of changes in the entrecard community. As I posted here when I was still new in the community, Entrecard is fun.

Nuffnang Is Now In The Philippines!

Many months ago, I saw a few blogs from the entrecard community that displays the Nuffnang logo. I wonder where they are from since they are not Filipinos or Westerners. I didn’t bother to check though, as I was not yet ready to put ads in my site.

Two weeks ago, I hopped into Ambo’s site that announced the arrival of Nuffnang Philippines. I read his entire post and head on the Nuffnang site to register. What is Nuffnang? Here’s an excerpt from their blog:

Web Traffic: Good News and Bad News

There are plenty of Pinoy SEO experts and enthusiasts these days, unlike a year ago when most of the bloggers I know were simply personal bloggers, and the method used to increase readership is thru building relationships with other like-minded bloggers. I say I miss those days. But blogging has evolved and the number of bloggers had increased exponentially in which expression and content are not the only things that matter for the blogger.

Then enter blog monetization, rankings, social networking and SEO. The objectives are to increase blog visibility, web traffic, and the monetary opportunities. Here are some web traffic news I gathered from the blogs I read the last 30 days:

Blogging Meets: Drawing Inspiration from Fellow Bloggers

I haven’t really been to a large blogging meet (blogging EBs). Maybe the largest gathering that I’ve been too was that organized by Rhodz and Weli, way back many months ago. The money making wonders of blogging opened the eyes of the other participants. I’ve been to small meets with Bloggista and Javi. It’s a small world really, since two were boardmates many years (and pounds) ago, and found each other again on that meeting in Makati.

I get to see Cyril almost everyday and we had plenty of discussions regarding our blogging directions. More of the blogs, and less of our cubicle occupation. He recently launched his latest blog: Risk of Business, making full use of his professional knowledge in the world of business and taxation. I, too, am drawn to follow suit.
