Readers crowd on each topic you post. Your posts are quoted everywhere, from the popular to the mere copy-pasters. You’ve created three or four more other blogs of different niches, and you now start earning real money. You’re in the elite circle. You’re now enjoying stardom in twitter, Facebook, and in whatever latest social media available.

This post is quite late considering that it’s already 20 days past the New Year. I initially wanted to post something else but the draft got stuck somewhere I could not find. The topic was about quitting, and really far far different from the title of this post.

Wow! 32 days without a new post! This is a new personal record for me, a record which is not good at all. The long period without posting anything is like I’m slowly killing my own blog. Less updates, fewer visitors, less Google-love, lesser revenues.

There is a very easy way to upgrade your WordPress version. How? That same question lingered in my brain for more than a year. I tried to seek the answer but got lost in the jungle of techie instructions. I was also afraid of losing my precious posts should I make a false move. First it was 2.5. Then it was 2.6. and 2.7. And now it’s 2.8.4. Can you guess what version I was using prior to this upgrade?

How to come up with a good blog post in just 30 minutes? Can you do it? Well, think about an essay question in high school wherein you have to pass your paper in 30 minutes, finished or unfinished. I’m sure you’ve done it. But whether it’s good or badly written, the teacher is your judge. In a blogger’s case, the readers are the judges.

Actually, I’m pressing for time as of this moment. In 30 minutes, a very important meeting will have to start. So while waiting for my boss and colleagues to arrive, I write this post. Here are my 5 suggestions in how to come up with a good blog post in just 30 minutes.

“Blog about your passion.” I am sure you have heard of it. I heard of this statement many times before when I first started out and the blogs that I read then were mostly not involved in the monetization wave. And so I started with some “Thoughts” blog, and wrote just about anything that comes to mind. The first comment I received made my eyes twinkle and my heartbeat faster. My fingers were aching to type more.

What was it that I was passionate about? Am I blogging about my passion? Plenty of us probably don’t know about niche blogging when we started out, so our early blogs were of the general type. Or shall we say, a little of everything.

If you look at my sidebar, you won’t find my blogroll. It used to be there, but I decided to transfer it to another page. The long list won’t be a good thing to watch, as it disrupts the balance and the beautiful design of this blog. I know, I know. Some readers out there would say that there’s something wrong with my theme because the side bar is down under. I think the problem is with the browser and the settings of your screen display. But maybe, I really have to change theme soon.
