Expectations for 2011

Today is the last day of 2010 and I am here at Starbucks Ayala Terraces Cebu typing my last blog entry for the year. Wow! How time flies so fast! A little over two decades ago, this place used to be a golf course. Now, the place is filled with high-rise buildings, a world-renowned hotel and a popular mall. I simply sat down and couldn’t help thinking about 2011.

What are your predictions and expectations for 2011? Me, not much. But here’s my list:

1. I’ll be reassigned back in Cebu. If it’s a good thing, I don’t know.
2. Spammers will be jailed. This blog is swarmed by spammers. Gucci bags is not better than via*ra. Unless they give me one of those Guccis, they’re not allowed here. V, no!
3. My blogging will be back to normal. Define normal?
4. My blogging buddies’ blogging will be back to normal. Let them define normal themselves.
5. P-Noy will finally have a new girlfriend. Twice. Didn’t he say that we’d stay off his lovelife?
6. Diesel price will increase to P50/liter. Somebody’s grinning.
7. My 90 year-old grandpa will have a Facebook account. Finally!
8. I will have another niece or nephew. My own? Reserve that for 2012.
9. My boss will retire. I’m sad. He already announced it. It isn’t news. It will be one if he’s gonna extend.
10. Lotto prize will breach P1B. The winner will be a Cebuano. Just watch out for Tim Yap’s tweet.
11. My boss will open a Facebook account and he will send me an add friend request plus an email. That will be scary!
12. I will be slimmer and firmer in 2011 without the hassles of a gym workout. I’m gonna starve myself once a week.
13. My fishing buddy will catch a 5-kilo fish in one of our fishing trips. But it will be at the cost of his fishing rod and reel.
14. My adsense earnings will double in 2011. Easy!
15. Pacquiao will announce his retirement from boxing.

Ok, I still have more but I’ll just add my 16-100 list later. Happy New Year 2011, everyone!
