How’s Your Blogging Lately?

The above is a question asked by lots of my blogging friends. After almost five years of blogging, I somehow can’t push myself to write a single post into this blog. I even somehow wasted an opportunity when my time came as the “Featured Blogger of the Week” in my P50 group. I actually planned to write a post, but the draft remained a draft.

The post I published prior to this doesn’t require enough thinking. Well, copy-paste a previous article, update, then publish. The real work will come when the results of the October 2010 CPA board exam will come out next week. Even the optimization part I failed.

So, how’s your blogging lately? I also asked the same question to my work colleague who decided to quit blogging to focus on his job and in his MBA. Right after he got his first and only $100+ adsense income, he decided to fold up his blogs. His would have been a profitable niche – something related to finance and business. An MBA in his resume would put more weight on his articles. But he said he will back to blogging soon. How soon is a question that will not be answered yet.

So, how are the blogging lives of my friends lately? Two of my closest blogging friends are doing good. They’re now enjoying the fruits of their monetization monthly. But they also know the fact that their online income is not yet at par with what they are currently receiving from their present jobs. However, they have high hopes that an online business will bring them millions. I also like to believe that.

Another blogger friend has taken a hiatus. His last real post was in February of this year – and then the guest posts. Hmmm… what has happened to him? When he reads this, he’ll know who I am referring to. I don’t want to assume or suspect that he has another blog hidden somewhere. Ooops! Or perhaps, Facebook and Twitter could be blamed.

So, how’s your blogging lately? I am now throwing that question to you my friend as I also want to be inspired myself. Have you come to a point wherein you are neglecting your blogs to focus on something else? If you are in blogging ecstasy right now, what keeps you going?
