So far I have never encountered major problems with the airline. One problem, however, cebu pacific always has is they usually take in so many passengers. What the passengers do not know is that they were already branded as chance passengers. What pisses me off is they did not even bother to inform the passenger about the situation. In the end the passenger was not able to take his flight and had his money wasted....there is actually a website/blog dedicated to the total humiliation of cebu pacific.hehehe..such a sorry state. I've had my ups and downs with them. I can't forget feeling so bad during our MNL-BCD trip last year. Mom and I carefully weighed our baggage not to exceed 20kgs, only to be informed at the check in counter that they changed their baggage limit to 15kgs already. I think it was a new policy that time which we were not aware of. We were not informed about that beforehand and even our tickets showed the 20kgs baggage limit. Add to that was the increased excess baggage payment from P50/kg to P100/kg. I had to transfer about 4kgs to my handcarry so we paid P600 for the excess. Anyway, their tickets are really cheaper if you buy at least a month before your actual departure. For our latest BCD-CEB flight, we only paid about 700PHP with the no-baggage option. To get the most benefit from Cebu Pacific, it's best to buy the tickets online and buy it at least a month ahead. And yes, flying with Cebu Pacific is really cheaper than choosing Superferry. CP woke me up so early in the morning yesterday informing me of our rescheduled flight. arrgh. i've consumed that free voucher already. Flight abroad? Nah, I don't think I'd ever fly with CP on a flight abroad. PAL has year round promo fares :) guess what? Last year I had a schedule like I fly on the average 3 times a week - I haven't taken a single flight with them. My previous experience(s) was (were) just awful I am avoiding them now. Sigh. Its been a while since I fly with Cebu Pacific. As much as possible, I always take PAL flights. They used to have great service, but now maybe because of over commitments – it has been degrading.

Wish me luck, I have a flight this month end with CP, they have rescheduled my flight twice already (oh no!), if everything goes well, i'll forgive them na. hahaha but noticed their on time performance is dropping every month. boo! But mind you, they earned a whooping 3.6B while their competitor lost 164M last year. i’ve flew with them again once simply because I used the free travel voucher, but I swear, it’s the most stressful flight ever knowing the high possibility that something can wrong.
