Google Adsense: Success Stories Or Still Making Cents
How’s your money-making blogging experience? A year in adsense and still making cents? Or you have a Google Adsense success story to share? Maybe you have already bought a PC or even a new car from your adsense earnings. Or perhaps you are one of the many who’ve already taken down the codes and eventually gave up on earning online thru Google Adsense?
If you are still making cents, don’t worry. You are not alone. You have me and plenty of bloggers out there. Don’t be desperate by violating rules, clicking on your own ads or even asking friends and readers to click on yours. You’ll be banned for life and even the scanty amount you have in your account will be taken away from you.
Here’s some hope for you (and for me). It is true that there are bloggers who are making a lot of money from Google Adsense. Not only bloggers but organizations are earning as well. Are there any secrets that we don’t know of? Here are some of the techniques I gathered:
1. Find the right niche – Not all niches are profitable. But if it’s for the love of blogging that you go into that niche, then proceed. Some do venture into the more profitable niches bringing with them their guts and determination to succeed.
2. Optimize – Research on keywords and optimize. A lot of bloggers are obviously doing this but I don’t know how they are doing chasing the hot keywords of the day. It could be a hit-or-miss thing. But the best thing to do is to make a very good post so as not to frustrate the readers. Though others will argue that the frustration will lead that reader to click on your ads.
3. Target the search engine traffic – It’s not your social network that gives you the revenue you desire. It is the readers brought by the search engines. And how do you get readers from search engines? Learn SEO.
4. Ad placement – Know where to correctly place the ads. A wrong placement could get you banned. Correct placement will give you more earning chances.

Now, what about my story? It’s been a more than year already and I am still making cents. I wasn’t applying any of the techniques I mentioned above for almost a year. Don’t laugh, ok. It won’t remain that way. I’m nearing my first payout, so watch out.

thanks for the visit marhgil! I read about the google hottrends in a visit to your blog almost year ago. I subscribed thru email and got your free SEO ebook. My SEO experiments were a hit-or-miss thing using the trends. The HITLOD mentioned in your ebook is something new to me, though I must have missed your post about it in your blog.
Angel, to write something is not enough. SEO is needed to push ones post or site in the top of SERP. And also, we have to anticipate what the search engine readers are looking for. For the pacquiao vs dela hoya, it won’t be our analysis that will draw searchers attention. Chances are, it could be the Free video, free tickets and live streaming, that will get the large pie of the earnings.
