Nuffnang Is Now In The Philippines!
Many months ago, I saw a few blogs from the entrecard community that displays the Nuffnang logo. I wonder where they are from since they are not Filipinos or Westerners. I didn’t bother to check though, as I was not yet ready to put ads in my site.
Two weeks ago, I hopped into Ambo’s site that announced the arrival of Nuffnang Philippines. I read his entire post and head on the Nuffnang site to register. What is Nuffnang? Here’s an excerpt from their blog:
Nuffnang is a Jafaikan word which means “real cool/good”. It was a big hype among youngsters in London. From here, Timothy Tiah and Cheo Ming, two London university students decided to launch Asia’s first blog advertising community. It was first launched in Malaysia on February 27, 2007 and in Singapore last April 30, 2007. Since then it became a “really cool” phenomenon in the Malaysian and Singaporean blogosphere. Now, they are bringing it here in the Philippines.
Nuffnangers, as what they call the bloggers in the nuffnang community, are therefore, cool bloggers. Joining Nuffnang is also a cool way of earning money. Bloggers get paid when they serve paid ads from advertisers. Ads could be CPC (Cost Per Click) Campaigns or CPM (Cost Per Impression) Campaigns.
Registration is easy. Putting the codes into your site is easy too as long as your template allows it. For my site, the 160×300 ad won’t fit in my sidebar. I don’t know how to squeak it so I just put the codes above my posts where it is most fitted. And while waiting for the ads to appear in my site, I had fun viewing their site analytics. It reads my blog traffic alright, and displays the earnings as well.
So, for you cool bloggers in the Philippines, be a Nuffnanger now!
