hi chiara, you have to meet the minimum requirements. One is that, you have to graduate from an Accountancy course. Go ask you college’s commerce/accountancy department about it. You may need to take a few more units to become eligible to take the CPA board.

Hi! I just want to ask if it is required to have finished an accounting course before taking the CPA Exam. I want to review for the CPA exam BUT i did not take an accounting course in college, but a business mgt one. I did take a few accouting units but maybe just around 12 units or less. Is it required to have taken up BSA or BSBAA in order to take the CPA board exam? Please get back to me. I would really really appreciate it! Thanks!

…..just wandered…..why standard changes?….is it for improvement?or is it for texbooks/review materials’ revisions and editions to have sense?…..or a sign of CPA’s flexibility/creativity or an indication of CPA’s mind unstability….

ryan, i suggest you enroll in a CPA review center. a lot had changed since that time you graduated.
