I really dislike the blogs who hide their EC and make you hunt for it....and I just end up avoiding them. I do not worry about the bounce rate (although I should) because I know that while there are people who drop and run there will always be someone who will stop and read something sometime. I have found great new blogs to read from dropping and have even gotten some links back from places where I left comments and then the blogger came to check out my blog. I do not hold my breath waiting for some EC miracle...but so far it has worked okay for me. I am still using EC and my widget has always been above the fold.
